Parker set to unveil three aviation fuel safety innovations at inter airport CONNECT event

Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, will preview three aviation fuel safety products at inter airport CONNECT from 20–21 April 2021.

To support airport industry recovery post-COVID 19, inter airport Europe is launching its first digital event. The two-day inter airport CONNECT exhibition includes product showcases, business networking opportunities and an extensive webinar programme.

Parker will preview three aviation fuel safety products from its virtual stand.

CDFX SAP-Free Water Barriers for Aviation Fuel

Water and fuel contamination pose a major risk for aircraft safety. But the CDFX, Parker’s latest water barrier filtration innovation, guarantees the removal of water and dirt from fuel without the need for additional sensing equipment. This drop-in solution for new and existing monitor vessels prevents water from entering the aircraft at the filtration stage - ensuring that clean, dry fuel is delivered every time, without the expense of water removal.

Aquacon® ACO-XTM Water Barrier Filters

Parker’s ACO-X provides SAP-free, drop-in barrier filtration for 5” and 6” diameter filter monitors. Easily adapted for filtration equipment at FBO and fixed fuelling sites, there’s no need for any filter housing modifications. This product also meets the effluent fuel quality and structural requirements of Energy Institute (EI) 1588 specifications.

Water-in-Fuel (WIFTM) Sensor

The Water-in-Fuel Sensor is an accurate, affordable and reliable water contaminant detector that ensures the supply of clean, dry fuel. Used with Parker aviation fuel filtration, WIF can take care of overall ground fuel handling requirements. It’s also designed to meet Energy Institute (EI) 1598 specifications for electronic sensors used to monitor fuel contamination - including free water and/or particulate matter.

Robert Guglielmi, Business Development Manager in Parker’s Filtration Group, said: “Ensuring safe travel and efficient risk management are business-critical, for customers and Parker.”

“This digital event is an excellent opportunity to network with the airport community and discuss how the latest fuel safety technologies can enhance aircraft safety. We’re also excited to offer delegates an exclusive preview of our latest fuel filtration innovations, including the CDFX - which not only detects water, but effectively blocks and repels it without additional sensing equipment.”

“We look forward to meeting new and established partners at inter airport CONNECT.”
