BVAA Spring Conference 2022

Engaging talk from BEIS

Engaging talk from BEIS

The BVAA's Annual Spring Conference (18th May) & Golf Day (19th May) delivers excellent guest speakers, lively entertainment, valuable networking opportunities and a delicious dinner at Formby Hall in Liverpool. The morning session of the BVAA Conference will be devoted to the enormous challenges and opportunities of Hydrogen.

It will cover basic concepts (the why, what, where and how), through to the practical challenges of utilising it, the practicalities of fuel switching, and also the testing of materials (metals and polymers) to ensure it stays where it is intended.

The afternoon will see a revert to more traditional markets including adding value through standardisation in the oil and gas market, what energy transition actually means from the regulator The OGA, and more about the useful project tracking resource supplied by The OGA.
