Ceetak Ltd, a leading provider of engineered sealing solutions and heat-sealing technologies, has opened a fully operational facility in the Netherlands, creating a fourth hub for the organisation.

Ceetak EU BV is strategically located in the east of the Netherlands, close to the German border. Its opening is part of an ambitious growth plan, and compliments the three other Ceetak UK locations in Bedford (Fraser Road and Napier Road) and Aberdeen.

Closer proximity to European Customers

The site is the first European facility for Ceetak, which celebrates its 50th anniversary next year, and is designed to support existing customers and be a further platform for growth in Europe. Fully operational since October 2022, the experienced Netherlands team will continue to develop logistical solutions and even better commercial advantages for customers.

The Netherlands facility provides a number of benefits for Ceetak’s current European customers providing excellent logistical support and reduced delivery times. The aim is to also support customers in achieving their sustainability goals by reducing the carbon footprint of transportation.

As an established seal product supplier into the automotive, EV, semiconductor, and energy industries, Ceetak is a welcome addition to the region. With many companies in these industries having headquarters or regional offices in the east of the country and rest of Europe, the local connection supports further business development in these markets for engineered sealing products.

Andy Cleaver, Managing Director at Ceetak explains, “As our business has grown, we have experienced an increase in our customer base across Europe, and it is for this reason we have taken the decision to set-up a European facility. This also creates a new platform for growth. To strategically support developing customers with a plan to offer the same high-quality products and design and engineering services as our UK sites provide."

Looking ahead to the future

The Ceetak team are looking forward to the future, with Andy commenting, “With the Netherlands facility, we foresee tremendous opportunities for growth across several of our key sectors.”
