Exhibitions Season!

In recent months, the BVAA has re-evaluated what industry exhibitions are most beneficial for us, and our members.  We debated what shows to attend, what we want to get out of them, and most importantly, for a not-for-profit organization, were they affordable?  It led to a completely new approach.

Key to any exhibition we attend now must be the value to our members and a real and genuine partnership with event organisers. The fact is, BVAA has a great deal to offer show partners.

We thoroughly value our partnership with the BVAA. They are a pro-active, well-organised machine driven by a highly accomplished, personable team that have supported us immensely over the past few years. We now consider the BVAA an integral part of CHEMUK and look forward to working with them as we develop the expo further.” Duncan Harrison, Marketing Director CHEMUK 2024.

This autumn, we are delighted to be partnering THREE major events.

SPE Offshore Europe: 5th ~ 8th September 2023, P&J Live Aberdeen - Visit Us: Stand 1C50

A mainstay of the UK oil and gas scene for decades, Offshore Europe remains a lean and efficient way to engage with the cream of the UKCS supply chain.  O&G has had such a battering in the press lately, it’s easy to forget the sector’s preeminent importance to ‘UK plc’.  Thanks to our fruitful new partnership with organizers Reed Exhibitions, BVAA is attending to bring the visitors’ attention to the British Valve industry, and to re-ignite our industry’s support for this uniquely important customer-facing event.  We will also be focused on promoting our independent valve training, available nationally, but also locally in Aberdeen.

UK Metals Expo: 13th ~ 14th September 2023, NEC Birmingham - Visit Us: Stand D62

A significant and active sector of the BVAA membership comes from the materials supply industry, and we are excited to be attending the UK Metals Expo, again as event partners with the UK Metals Expo team.  We will be multi-tasking, bringing to visitors’ attention the capabilities of our materials supply companies, meeting with our many members present and learning more about this important sector.

Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe: 27th ~ 28th September, Messe Bremen - Visit Us: Stand 5K60

Keeping our focus well and truly on the future of the industry and its transition to new sources of clean energy, BVAA is delighted to be attending the Hydrogen Technology Expo in Bremen.  Again, this is as official event partners of the organizers, TransGlobal Events.  In this issue of Valveuser magazine, we have a special feature featuring a number of BVAA members that are ‘Hydrogen-Ready’.  They have products already available on the market, for Hydrogen system builders, see page 6 of Valveuser Magazine Issue 86.

We look forward to you all in September!
