West Special Fasteners, the Derbyshire based manufacturers of stainless steel and nickel alloy special fasteners, has joined the British Valve and Actuator Association (BVAA). The company, which was established in 1999, has grown into one of the most respected hot forgers and producers of high integrity fasteners in the United Kingdom. The move to join BVAA is a result of the commitment to serve the valve industry and build relationships in this thriving sector.

The facilities at the Derbyshire plant combine the latest in induction hot forging machinery with CNC precision, and automatic and manual lathes. While West Special Fasteners’ employees are skilled and have experience at the highest levels, many of our accomplished machinists have joined the company from other fastener companies and have brought with them years of experience.

Products that can be manufactured in-house include Hexagon Head Bolts, Socket Head Capscrews, Studs, Hexagon Nuts, Socket Countersunk Screws, Cup Square Bolts, Socket Setscrews and other speicalised fasteners. All are manufactured under West Special Fasteners Quality Management System, which is approved to ISO 9001:2008 by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance Limited.
