Latest recruitments to the GPEC Ltd team

GPEC Ltd are delighted to announce the recent appointment of Tony Selby in December 2020 who has had over 30 years Sales & Operational experience working with market leading engineered OEM’s, with major emphasis on Aftermarket and service sector, holding senior positions.

Tony has a proven track record in Business development, with extensive customer service experience and focus, adding tangible value to the clients and companies he has represented across a wide range of market sectors, including Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Petrochemical, and General industries.

During this time Tony has pro-actively identified and developed strategic business opportunities which have been the driving force behind his success.

As part of the GPEC team, Tony’s role is Business Development Manager for Aftermarket in the South of the UK, predominantly focusing on IMI brands within the GPEC portfolio, such as IMI CCI, IMI Bopp & Reuther, IMI STI, IMI Remosa and IMI Z&J brands.

Tony will be working in conjunction with Andy Woodward, who covers the North of the UK and Ireland for Aftermarket for GPEC. Andy was appointed in November 2020 as announced in Valve issue 57. Together they have over 55 years combined knowledge and experience in this very demanding field.

Andy, GPEC Limited’s Business Development Manager for the IMI Aftermarket business, has over 25 Years experience working with Control & Choke Valves within Oil & Gas, Power and Petrochemical Industry, ranging from Internal Sales to International Sales whilst covering EMEA, SE Asia & Australia. Specialising in Aftermarket, looking at Valve Failures and determining root cause with solutions, Andy has built a reputation as one of the Industries ‘go-to’ guys when dealing with Valve issues. A graduate of the IMI CCI Valve Doctor® Academy allows Andy to utilise his skills, experience and knowledge to ensure continuous running of Plants, something that Andy has first-hand experience of during his many years.

GPEC Ltd exclusively represent manufacturers of industrial, engineered valves & static equipment for specialised and niche applications. The company currently act as agents for both IMI Z&J and IMI Remosa and will now represent IMI CCI, IMI STI and IMI Bopp & Reuther for their control valves, actuation and application solutions within the Aftermarket sector.
