The Future is Bright for Sheffield-Based AMB Co. Ltd

Considering the events of the last 18 months, AMB Co. Ltd have emerged relatively unscathed in terms of both performance and indeed people, with bright ambitions for the future.

In fact, the Sheffield-based company is in a great position to grow the company over the coming months and years, having recently employed a new Business Development Manager, Andrew Wellwood.

Speaking about the company’s future plans for success, Andrew says that “We’re a family-owned company steeped in history and it’s that ethos, that togetherness that has seen the company through the past 18 months. That said, we have big ambitions to grow the business and our key sectors include Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Defence, Marine and Power Generation. As these sectors start heading towards pre-pandemic levels, we’ve given ourselves a great platform for growth and it’s our continued investment in technology but more importantly, our people, that gives us all here at AMB Co. the desire to drive the company towards success.”

“We’re over the moon to become a fully-fledged member of the BVAA and we look forward to enjoying a prosperous relationship for many years to come.

Digital Marketing is in focus at the moment – we’re aiming to go live with our new website at the end of September and there continues to be plenty of engagement on LinkedIn, so give us a follow here.”

“The growth and progress at AMB Co. Ltd continue at pace, having recently attained BAE Approved procedure status for deposition of Alloy 306 using PAW & GTAW processes, which only enhances our reputation further.”

Based in Sheffield, Albert Marsh and Bestelite Co. Ltd (AMB Co. Ltd) are the leading supplier of hard-faced composite components to a very diverse range of industries. The production facility in the heart of Sheffield’s engineering district is where AMB take a magnitude of different raw materials and process them into high specification components using (but not limited to) manual and CNC lathes, CNC vertical lathes with milling capabilities, CNC and EDM machining centres.

A hard-facing specialist with well over 200 years of combined welding experience and an equally impressive library of over 100 welding procedure approvals, covering an array of critical applications in some of the world’s most demanding environments, such as Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Power Generation and Defence.
