It’s been a busy summer at the BVAA, and we were fortunate to catch up with some of our valued members and find out about their news!

We have visited new facilities, welcomed new members and celebrated the success of long-standing members. Here is a quick round up of summer activities…

MCE Group Opens New 19,000 sq/ft Facilities

Valve Repair and Shutdown Services

MCE GROUP recently opened their new 19,000 sq/ft valve maintenance facility at Grenadier House, in Stockton on Tees. To celebrate this move, and their new branding, they held an open day on the 27 July, giving visitors an opportunity to meet the team and learn about their valve maintenance capabilities, diagnostic services and zero leakage valve solutions.

Valve-Kits Group’s busy order books and valued BVAA support

The BVAA enjoyed an excellent visit to Valve-Kits Group Ltd, a leading privately owned valve mounting kit manufacturer in the UK.

They supply a vast array of valve and actuator related products, including mounting kits, extension stems, locking devices, worm gears, bevel gears, accessory mounting brackets, linkages and panels for the fitting of filter regulators, positioners and solenoids.

Valve-Kits is one of the sponsors at this year's BVAA Annual Meetings and Gala Ball, and look out for them on the front cover of our Special Edition Valveuser print magazine, due to be distributed at Valve World Expo 2022!

Actuated Solutions Limited receives largest ever delivery of actuators!

Karen Webb, General Manager at the BVAA, recently visited Actuated Solutions Limited - one of the leading valve automation companies based in the UK. It was exciting to hear how busy the team were, as they unloaded their biggest ever delivery, 20 pallets of actuators & switchboxes.

By being an independent company free, from the constraints of a larger parent, they pride themselves on flexibility, quality, service and above all an ability to remain competitive in an economic climate where material costs are constantly rising.

The BVAA visits WIKA Instruments’ new facilities!

BVAA was delighted to have the opportunity to meet with the team at WIKA in their brand-new facilities in Sevenoaks.

WIKA Instruments, a long-standing member of the BVAA, provide pressure, temperature, level, flow, force and related calibration instruments. Their facility includes an engineering services department with repair, modification and calibration capability as well as incorporating the TC Fluid Control, level manufacturing capability and our ATEX approved electrical temperature manufacturing line.
