Score announces expansion plans with new UK facility

Score Europe Limited is delighted to announce it is expanding with the launch of a new facility in Southampton, UK.

Three years on from announcing its facility in Marchwood, Southampton, Score has now moved to a new facility in the Northam area of Southampton, which is three times larger than the original premises.

The facility will include a larger fitting shop, machine shop, as well as additional Hydrostatic and HP Gas Testing cells. This expansion will further support Score Europe Limited’s ambition to grow the business in the south of England, and will allow the Company to offer its extensive services to the water and Powergen markets.

The Score team will provide workshop valve and actuator overhauls and PSV servicing, as well as on-site support for Score Europe’s customers in the south of England. In addition, the Southampton team will have access to Score Europe’s considerable resources to provide engineering, manufacturing, and procurement back-up, as well as personnel for on-site support during larger turnarounds, outages, and commissioning projects.

Scott Will, Managing Director of Score Europe Limited, said: “The new facility provides us with the capacity to offer our unique services to a wider customer base in the south of England. It will enable us to provide them with rapid assistance on-site whenever required, and with quick turnaround of safety valves through the workshop facility.

“We also look forward to providing the opportunity for more local young people to join our engineering apprenticeship programme, as we look to build our profile within the community.”
