Shipham Valves granted API 6D Monogram License

In September 2009 Shipham Valves were granted the right to use the Official API Monogram® on products manufactured at its works in Hull, East Yorkshire.

This API license covers valves manufactured to the API 6D standard “Specification for Pipeline Valves” and applies to gate, ball and check valves. To achieve this, Shipham had to submit to a rigorous appraisal and audit to demonstrate that not only could it meet all the requirements of the API 6D valve standard but also the requirements of the quality standard, API Q1.
Managing Director of Shipham, John Wall said “We are delighted to be able to use the prestigious API Monogram as it demonstrates to the global process industries our capabilities in manufacturing a wide range of valves to the highest design and quality standards.”
