Rachel Wormald, Managing Director at YPS Valves Ltd and Elizabeth Waterman, Principal Engineer at PDL Solutions (Europe) Ltd recently joined the BVAA Board of Directors.

Rachel Wormald says on her appointment to the Board, “I am delighted to have been asked to join the BVAA Board of Directors and am very much looking forward to working with like-minded people to encourage new generations into the process sectors and applications we serve along with progression and continual development of the valve, actuation and process control product.”

Co-opted Board Member Elizabeth Waterman is a chartered engineer who participated on the first BVAA Future Leaders Programme, and comments, “I’m thrilled to be asked to be co-opted onto the BVAA board and looking forward to learning more about BVAA and contributing to its success.”

“I benefited hugely from participating in the Future Leaders Programme in 2016, learning about the industry, other companies and making great, long-lasting friendships along the way. Each year it is wonderful to see the next cohort excel and develop as a group and as individuals. I’d be keen to see this network grow past the year-long programme and develop into a community of individuals that can support the industry and each other.”

On these recent appointments, Rob Bartlett, Director and CEO of the BVAA, comments, “I’m thrilled that our Board will be joined by two such knowledgeable and respected members of our community.  We constantly need to have new ideas to keep our services fresh and relevant, and Rachel and Elizabeth are the perfect additions to our team.”
