IVS – Industrial Valve Summit: 14 – 16 May

Key Event in the World of Industrial Valves and Flow Control

The fifth edition of IVS - Industrial Valve Summit, the international trade fair of reference for the sector of industrial valve and flow control products, is approaching. The date is 14th to 16th May at the Fiera di Bergamo, right in the middle of a week in which the Lombardy city will be welcoming thousands of visitors and hundreds of exhibitors from all over the world.

IVS has become a reference point for EPCs, end users and technology manufacturers, and for them the event is much more than an exhibition. As well as being a key event in business development, IVS is an international meeting place where change can be read and interpreted, analysing the challenges of the sector. The Industrial Valve Summit offers the opportunity to meet the major global players and to establish new business contacts, but it is also a chance to take an in-depth look at technological innovations, analyse market developments and macro-trends.

In addition to leading decision-makers and operators, a line-up of authoritative speakers will be in attendance to develop the rich conference calendar. Among the topics covered are additive manufacturing; digital technologies applied to valves, actuators and flow control systems; seals and fugitive emissions; valve and material design for extreme conditions; regulatory standards; supply chain management; artificial intelligence applied to mechanical design, sourcing and manufacturing; energy transition and carbon capture and sequestration. These will be complemented by panel discussions on hydrogen, market analysis, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), greenhouse gas management and many other. During the event, the update of the IVS-Prometeia Observatory 'The Oil&Gas Valve Industry 2024' will be introduced.

Great news for the 2024 edition is the creation of an actual ‘valve week’. The work will kick off in the morning of 14th May with the opening of the Summit and will continue in the afternoon with the early opening of the halls to exhibitors and foreign delegations. By doing so, the Summit aims to create a valuable opportunity for networking among the industry's key players. The event will go into full swing on 15th and 16th May, while an additional opportunity for the foreign delegations in attendance and the extended Oil & Gas supply chain to meet will be offered on Friday 17th May, following the two-day trade fair.
