Albion Expands Board of Directors

Following the announcement late last year regarding the changes to the Board of Directors at Albion Valves (UK) Limited, we would like to provide you with an update on our progress.

As a result of business growth and development, it was decided that our previous Sales and Marketing Director role had vastly expanded and was now too much for one person to manage, and instead, it should be split into two separate roles. This is when the new Sales Director and Commercial Director roles were born.

We are now pleased to report that Darren Baxter has successfully handed over 50% of his Sales and Marketing Director role to the new Sales Director, Dan Crosswaite. Dan is now responsible for all of our external personnel (Area Sales Managers and Regional Contracts Managers) and our internal Projects Support Team; this became effective from the 1^st March 2024.

The other 50% of Darren’s time is dedicated to commercial tasks, such as determining pricing structures and pricing amendments, negotiating trading agreements, and managing the internal Sales and Marketing Teams.

We are delighted to inform you that we have now appointed a Commercial Director, Rich Rhodes, who started with Albion Valves (UK) Limited on the 4^th March 2024, taking the number of Directors at Albion Valves (UK) Limited from four to five.

Rich has a wealth of experience and knowledge within the commercial heating industry, specifically in Building Services, HVAC, and Mechanical and Electrical in which he has spent the past 20 years. His previous roles include Branch Manager, Business Development Manager, Commercial Technical Manager, Head of Key Accounts, Head of HVAC, and Business Development Director. These roles, and the relationships that he has built with our customers whilst in these roles, will set him in good stead for a successful career at Albion.

A transition period will now begin in which Darren will hand over his commercial duties and responsibilities to Rich. This will then allow Darren to embark on his own transition period with David Keys into the role of Managing Director.

Darren is still on schedule to take over the Managing Director role from the 1^st of April 2025 as planned, following the retirement of David from Albion Valves (UK) Limited.

David still plans to retire from his Managing Director role at Albion Valves (UK) Limited on the 31^st March 2025, but will remain involved in the business as Chairman. He will also remain more heavily involved in Albion Valves (International) Limited, as he will continue holding the Managing Director role in this growing business.
