New Approvals for New Markets and UK Origin Plans
AVA has been enjoying its best ever year in 2025 with strong sales resulting in a forecasted 50% + growth vs 2024. As part of the same plans as Allvalves, to move to a new headquarters, AVA has a lot of plans to continue its growth and development this year. Now offering 10Nm to 2000Nm, the range of actuators is continuously improved to add additional functionality and benefits to its customers around the world.
AVA currently have actuators being tested in the USA and Canada for approval for hazardous use. The new certification will cover ATEX, UL, CSA and IECEX to cover all markets globally with certification expected to be complete by August 2025. The current EX range offers 20Nm to 110Nm and covers various voltages, functionality including on off, failsafe, modulating, high speed, modbus and more. This offering something new to the market that is calling out for a new player with the current brands often being limited in functionality and offering long delivery times. AVA sees the ATEX market in Europe in particular a massive growth markets over the coming years.
Speaking of growth markets, AVA has secured a number of new customers, largely in the USA in fast growing industries including biogas, data centers and HVAC. Working with specialist OEM customers. AVA have been able to have their actuators specified as the chosen actuated valve assembly resulting in orders for 1000s of actuators being secured. From landfill gas capture to liquid cooling for servers in data centers, AVA is able to support a wide range of industry. As part of the EX approval process, the ordinary location requirements for UL and CSA will also be met, resulting in AVA to have UL 429 and CSA 22.2 certified actuators from 20Nm to 110Nm. This further opening up the US and Canadian markets for this fast growing UK based valve actuator company.
Speaking of the USA, with it being a major part of AVA’s business since 2016, AVA will use its new headquarters to not only grow its team but also add a light assembly and manufacturing facility in house. AVA will look to customize the actuators in the UK, finishing the manufacturing process through design, calibration and testing to gain UK origin on the products. Making AVA truly a UK brand and joining only a small list of UK actuator companies. This putting AVA in a very strong position to trade with the USA with its trade deal with the US making AVA a very attractive option for its US customer base. This development will be enhanced by AV Smart Tech, a member of the AVG Group.
Exciting times to be involved in the AVG Group of companies with Allvalves, AVA and AV Smart Tech. More news to follow on what really is becoming the Orange and Grey revolution in the valve actuator market.
