LB Bentley Launches DuraVal Product Line for Subsea Applications

LB Bentley is proud to announce the launch of its new DuraVal Product Line, a breakthrough in small-bore subsea slab gate valves engineered to meet and exceed the most stringent industry standards and customer-specific requirements.

The development of DuraVal was initiated by a bespoke request from a key customer in Brazil. The customer required a through conduit slab gate valve that met highly rigorous specification requirements, with no concessions or deviations.  Rising to the challenge, LB Bentley’s world-class R&D engineers leveraged decades of subsea smallbore valve expertise to craft a pioneering solution, perfectly aligned with end-user requirements – and secured new patents for innovative design features along the way.

The resulting DuraVal product was not only designed to meet, but to exceed the latest API standards. The valve has been qualified to the latest industry specifications and tailored to the unique operational requirements of the client. This accomplishment highlights LB Bentley's commitment to precision engineering and customer satisfaction.

A New Era of Subsea Valve Solutions

DuraVal represents more than just a new valve; it signals the beginning of a full product line designed to redefine performance in subsea applications. The first batch of 1” slab gate valves, proudly designed and manufactured in the UK, has already been delivered to Brazil. These units are currently being integrated into subsea XMT systems for the Buzios 10 and 11 oilfields, two flagship pre-salt projects in Brazil's offshore oil and gas sector.
