HSP showcases automation and reliability solutions at CHEMUK and IVS

HSP Valves recently attended two key industry exhibitions – CHEMUK 2026 in Birmingham and the Industrial Valve Summit (IVS) in Bergamo, Italy – providing an opportunity to engage with customers, suppliers and industry partners across the process, valve and automation sectors.
While the two events served different audiences, a consistent theme emerged throughout both exhibitions: increasing demand for solutions that improve operational reliability, support automation strategies and enhance long-term asset performance.
At CHEMUK, HSP showcased a range of products focused on process efficiency and safety, including IMI Maxseal solenoid valves and filter regulators, IMTEX valve monitoring solutions and Autorodder, a proactive maintenance solution designed to help eliminate the need for manual rodding of blocked tapping and sampling points.
The event provided an opportunity to demonstrate how these technologies can help process operators improve safety, maintain process continuity and reduce operational disruption.
At IVS, HSP joined the British Valve and Actuator Association (BVAA) Group Stand, engaging with the wider international valve community and highlighting its growing valve automation capabilities.
A particular focus was HSP's Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) offering and valve actuation packages, supporting customers with integrated automation solutions tailored to project-specific requirements. Discussions throughout the event reinforced the importance of engineering expertise, lifecycle support and reliable automation systems in helping customers meet increasingly complex operational demands.

Together, the two exhibitions highlighted how customer expectations continue to evolve beyond product supply alone, with increasing emphasis placed on technical support, integration expertise and long-term operational performance.
Commenting on the events, Derrick Mackenzie, Managing Director at HSP Valves, said:
"Both CHEMUK and IVS provided valuable opportunities to connect with customers and industry partners and to better understand the challenges they are facing.
One of the clearest messages from both events was the growing focus on automation, reliability and lifecycle support. Customers are looking for trusted partners who can provide not only quality products, but also the engineering expertise and technical support needed to deliver long-term value.
The conversations we had reinforced that our continued investment in valve automation, hydraulic power units and innovative technologies such as Autorodder is aligned with what the market is asking for, and we're excited about the opportunities ahead."
