Great Success for Howco at Farnborough

The global materials and engineering specialist Howco Group has made its first appearance at one of the aerospace industry's most important annual events, the iconic Farnborough International Airshow. The show is the flagship event for the global aerospace and defence communities, with 2026’s event the most successful iteration ever. Over the course of five days, the show welcomed 141,580 trade and public visitors, including leaders from government, manufacturers, investors, start-ups, academia, media and future talent from more than 135 countries.

Known for its world class, worldwide philosophy, Howco processes and distributes high-performance alloys and manufactures precision components for some of the world’s most challenging environments in sectors including oil & gas, chemical processing, energy and most recently, aerospace. Having successfully expanded into the sector earlier this year, Farnborough offered an important opportunity to demonstrate how Howco’s four decades of expertise translate into aerospace, where traceability, quality control and repeatable processing are just as critical.

Howco's dedicated stand in Hall 4 welcomed delegates throughout the week, with the team discussing the company's material ranges: nickel alloys, superalloys, stainless, duplex, super duplex, low alloy and non-magnetic - alongside its wider capabilities in inventory management, machining, heat treatment, testing and additive manufacturing.

Jane Savage, Regional Director - Europe at Howco, commented, “Farnborough was a genuinely rewarding week for the team. It gave us the chance to talk directly with people across the aerospace industry about what Howco can offer, from materials through to processing, and the level of interest we saw on the stand confirmed we're heading in the right direction.

“Aerospace is very much a growth area for us, and after gaining our AS 9100D accreditation, this was another strong step forward.”

The next Farnborough International Airshow will be in July 2028, and Howco will return with a much greater presence. In the interim, the company is focused on developing its global offering to the aerospace sector.

The Business Development Teams at Howco have enjoyed a busy summer, with multiple trade show appearances across Europe and the USA. In June, the US team appeared at the West Coast’s leading exhibition and conference for space technology, Space Tech Expo in California.
