CEN/TS 13547:2006 “Industrial valves – Copper alloy ball valves”
By BVAA’s Technical Consultant, Peter Churm
The conversion of CEN Technical Specification (TS) 13547:2006 “Industrial valves – Copper alloy ball valves” into a full EN has been registered in CEN/TC 69/WG 5 work programme at preliminary stage.
During its last plenary meeting in June 2011, CEN/TC 69 requested its secretariat to launch a resolution by correspondence to convert CEN/TS 13547:2006 into a full EN. As convenor of CEN/TC 69/WG 5, I prepared the text of prEN 13547 (available from BVAA).
Therefore the resolution is under vote until 31 May 2012 to activate the preliminary Work Item in CEN/ TC 69/WG 5 work programme. If you wish to be nominated as a UK expert to take part in the work (if the resolution is accepted) contact the BVAA.
