The Dangers of Industrial Gas Abuse
By BVAA’s Technical Consultant, Peter Churm
The British Compressed Gases Association (BCGA) has recently issued an excellent leaflet 07:2012 (Rev2) on the dangers of industrial gas abuse. What can seem like harmless fun can ultimately end up being extremely harmful, even lethal.
The BCGA leaflet describes various gases, their properties; their effects, the reasons people abuse them, and the risks they run. It really is an excellent document and I commend it to you all. BVAA can direct you to copies – or alternatively contact BCGA direct at email bcga.admin@bcga.co.uk
