BVAA: Training goes online
Pained but not dismayed by the necessary decision to postpone our face-to-face Training at BVAA HQ this autumn, due to the Covid restrictions, BVAA has moved quickly to develop courses adapted for delivery ONLINE.
The first of these – ‘Introduction to Valves’ with Peter Dix - started delivery on Tuesday 29th September. Broken down onto four sessions of 90 minutes, the material is exactly the same as that delivered in person. However it benefits from being much cheaper than the traditional course, especially for BVAA members, and of course very much more convenient and saving both travel and subsistence costs for delegates, and not interfering greatly with their daily routines. It is CPD certificated and delegates also receive a copy of the renowned BVAA Valve & Actuator User Manual 6th Edition.
We will be running further sessions of ‘Intro to Valves’ shortly – contact karen@bvaa.org.uk for details of dates.
We will also be converting ALL our other courses to online delivery, commencing with SILs - see separate article.
