AVA secure major orders and expands with locations around the globe

Following initial successful years of development, AVA has hit the ground the running in 2021 with various major orders secured along with new long-term partnerships agreed. AVA has secured a large new customer in the USA that has signed an initial 3-year deal and despite some delays due to COVID, the stock order has now been placed with over 3500 actuators being ordered initially with various other large project orders due this year. The partnership will see an expected 10,000 actuators per year being sold. In addition to this, the inward investment of this huge new partner will enable the specification and range to be enhanced over the coming months and years.

With huge interest in the USA and Canada, AVA have this week signed off on CSA and UL approval which will see the full range being approved and certified to UL and CSA standards which in turn will see AVA expand its distribution network in North America overnight. This will lead to 1000s of actuators being sold from OEM’s in San Diego to industrial valve distribution partners in Ontario, Canada. This investment is a sign of AVA’s long-term commitment to quality, approvals and accreditation that lifts the range above the competition, although many of the features and benefits of this range of actuators, already does just that.

As interest globally increases, AVA will expand its setup in the UK and USA to move to new markets and support new distributors around the world. An office in mainland China will come first with the sales office offering support to AVA customers in Australia, South Korea, and other countries in Asia. Following this AVA will soon be announcing a new partnership for Europe with a sales location initially in Spain in 2021 but with plans to expand this into Netherlands and Germany within the next 18-24 months.

AVA won the local Chamber of Commerce Most Promising New Business award back in 2019 and it is easy to see why, with some of the worlds leading brands of valve manufacturers and OEM’s choosing AVA, its clear that AVA is set to continue its growth and take additional market share in the Valve Actuator marketplace, not only here in the UK but globally.

Further examples of this come in the projects and sales this year so far that has seen record sales over $1 million in the last 6 weeks alone. Projects in the USA for Modbus RTU actuators which will be used as part of a ship building project, to the 600 x actuators ordered for dampers in Germany. AVA is set to sell 1000s of actuators into the USA for a new application for their compact failsafe actuators. AVA has also seen other projects supplied to Europe including over 250 x hi speed actuators.

AVA will continue to develop and invest in the UK location and team as they look to develop the onboard firmware in house and have some final assembly and production of the actuators brought to the UK over the next 18-24 months. Exciting times ahead for this UK brand electric actuator company.
