Exciting changes at Maher

Sheffield based Nickel Alloy specialist, Maher Ltd., has made an exciting new appointment in March as part of a restructure of the Sales Department. This change come on the back of a re-focus in strategy to take advantage of new opportunities as the world emerges from the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bob Simpson has been appointed as Business Development Manager supporting the Global Oil & Gas sales teams. Previously having been Sector Leader - Oil & Gas UK since January 2020, this newly created role is focused on developing new business streams in the industry, with particular focus on OEM partnerships across the world. Bob added “I am looking forward to the opportunity to engage with other BVAA members and support their requirements for high performance alloys, as we emerge from what has undoubtedly been a difficult 12 months.”
