BVAA: National Fluid Power Centre
BVAA attends Fluid Power Expo
BVAA Director Rob Bartlett recently participated in the fluid power exhibition held at the National Fluid Power Centre, Worksop.
A good number of current, lapsed and potential members were exhibiting, demonstrating the tremendous overlap that now exists in the interests of companies involved in flow control and fluid power.
The NFPC is also a superb lesson in how a passionate leader (John Savage) who has won the support of industry, can move a training establishment from time-based courses to internationally recognised competence-based qualifications, and move from a grotty portacabin in a college car park to a £3m purposed-designed training establishment that’s the envy of the world.
Better still, if you operate out of the Nottingham/Derby D2/N2 area, you can get some fluid power FREE training as part of the Skills for Jobs programme, see link.
