BVAA: UKCA Marking Webinar
The BVAA hosted its best-ever attended webinar on post-Brexit Compliance (‘UKCA Marking’ for short). Over 70 members participated, in a two-hour and on this occasion free, training course hosted by BVAA’s own Peter Dix.
The session covered what happened with Brexit, general and regulatory changes, how PED and ATEX and the UK regulations are affected, the timing of the changes needed and how it affects valve industry companies, along with an intriguing and very revealing examples and Q&A session.
One clear outcome is, despite all the guidance issued by BVAA, some members still have not interpreted the changes correctly, which should be quite concerning. A UKCA training course should definitely be considered.
Make it Bespoke
Like other courses, this now converts to a regular BVAA Training Course (modest fees for members as always), however members can also request that BVAA provide a bespoke version, specific to their particular business. Contact karen@bvaa.org.uk to discuss.
