BVAA: FREE Materials Roundtable Panel Discussion
This online session will be taking place on the 20th of April 2022. Kicking off at 10.30am until 12 Noon. This discussion will be chaired by Adam Bradley from Corrosion Resistant Materials and cover a range of topics affecting the Materials Supply Chain which include:
- Cost challenges, alloy surcharges, energy surcharges and inflation.
- Lead times and how to protect yourself from stock-outs when production lead times are going up
- Implications of Brexit and Covid
- Dealing with specifications / 3.2 testing / traceability
- Effects of Commodity Pricing (especially volatile commodities like Nickel & Copper) but also how the oil price effects the capacity at mills
- Benefits of securing long term supply agreements
- Benefits of discussing specifications with stockholders before they are released.
