The HQ Series of Quarter-Turn Electric Actuators

The HQ Series of quarter-turn electric actuators has been sold in the UK by Actuated Solutions Ltd (ASL), for nearly 20 years and remains one of the most popular electric actuators on the market today.

These compact, hard-wearing actuators remain our best-selling line, and when you consider how many features they offer for such a great price, it’s easy to see why.

All actuators have an IP67 hard anodised aluminium housing and are supplied with manual override, 4 off limit switches, anti-condensation heater and visual indicator.

SIL Rating now Standard
Approvals for the HQ continue to expand, and we’re pleased to announce the HQ008 to HQ300 are now SIL2 rated as standard. Actuator approvals now include ATEX, IEC, CSA, EAC and RINA. SIL approval further cements the HQ actuator’s position as the market leader for cost-effective, reliable electric actuation.

HQ005 - High Specification General-Purpose Actuator at a Low-Price
The popular HQ005 offers an unrivalled level of specification for a general-purpose actuator. Standard features include LED indication and a unique mounting base covering ISO patterns F3/F4/F5 and F7. Options include a battery-powered failsafe function and modulating positioner card for fine control. All options are integral, so added functionality doesn’t increase the actuator’s compact footprint.

ATEX Approved Actuators from Stock
ATEX EXD actuators for hazardous environments are available from stock - from 60Nm to 800Nm output torque. The actuators come with the same standard specification as the rest of the range but are also approved to EX II 2G, Exd IIB T4.
