As Oxford Flow continues to expand and reach new markets internationally, we warmly welcome ACADS Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (ACADS) as our exclusive distributors in Malaysia. Being an innovative valve manufacturer, Oxford Flow has experienced unprecedented growth and is reimagining valve technology for the energy, water, and industrial sectors. Our products include axial flow control valves, and liquid and gas pressure regulating valves.

Operating from our headquarters in Oxford, UK, the company has a separate research and development facility and factory, with an office in the US. However, as our business grows, new partnerships are being founded. Currently, Oxford Flow aims to expand beyond our main markets are in Europe, Middle East, and US with ambitious plans to target the Southeast Asia (SEA) region as well.

ACADS is a comprehensive Oil & Gas (O&G) equipment provider with a complete solution for O&G distribution and the transmission industry. With a strong regional presence in Malaysia and ASEAN region, they sell low to high pressure regulators, industrial regulators (boiler / burner / station) and gas regulators for transmission / power plant to the oil and gas sectors, as well as to onshore and offshore sectors.

ACADS were impressed by Oxford Flow’s highly innovative solutions and liked how the stem and diaphragm had been eliminated from what traditional regulators use and replaced with the Oxford Flow axial flow, patented piston design. They believed this would be game changing, both in terms of reducing Opex and Capex costs. Traditional regulators, comprise of multiple parts, which are subject to excessive wear but Oxford Flow’s single moving part, and axial flow technology greatly minimises this, lowering total cost of ownership in the process.

Caemen Tang, (Managing Director of ACADS) said, “We are proud to be representing such an innovative company as Oxford Flow and aim to make their products a new gold standard for our region. We are confident these solutions are needed by some of the biggest players in the market, though they might not realise it yet. With continued support from Oxford Flow, we will be able to help our clients and industry players to grow by offering them solutions that will stand the test of time.”

Another major advantage of Oxford Flow valves is the elimination of fugitive emissions. This can improve safety but can also be influential in minimising the effects on the environment. Products simplicity, ease of installation, zero to low maintenance and ability to secure more uptime were also factors ACADS felt their customers would appreciate.

Neil Poxon (CEO of Oxford Flow) said, “As Oxford Flow expands and develops our liquid and gas valves, we are keen to build a strong foothold in Southeast Asia. ACADS already has a strong established network in the region, and we are delighted that we will be able to work together in this partnership to expand our footprint in selling upstream and midstream oil and gas products in Malaysia.”
