Hot Spot 2013 BSI 5 year review of standards
BS 759-1 1984 - Valves, gauges and other safety fittings for application to boilers and to piping installations for and in connection with boilers - Specification for valves, mountings and fittings
BS 1873 1975 - Specification for steel globe and globe stop and check valves (flanged and buttwelding ends) for the petroleum, petrochemical and allied industries
BS 3463 1975 - Specification for observation and gauge glasses for pressure vessels
The British standards listed above are current and now subjected to BSI 5 yearly review of standards, they have already been confirmed during previous reviews. In the absence of any response the default position, to propose the standard for reconfirmation, will be taken.
BSI requires comments by end of April 2013.
