BVAA: Business Development Event

On the 21st January the BVAA held its inaugural Business Development online event, with a whopping 40 members and guests taking part.

Hosted by the BD Group’s Chair, the effervescent Matt King, and vice chair Adam Bradley, the session included a session with Sales & Mindset coach Steve Knapp, virtual whistle-stop tours of both Safi Valves and Corrosion Resistant Materials.

BVAA’s Chairman Colin Findlay made a short address and CEO Rob Bartlett gave his take on the current crises, BVAA’s service offer and a few words of wisdom.

After formalities, there was an informal chat where business opportunities arose.

The next session will be delivered at lunchtime on 25th February. This exclusive event series is being offered free to members. This second business development event which promises to be a fantastic session over the lunchtime period.

The hour will include exciting tours of the Maher and Langley Alloy facilities. There will also be a talk by Paul Moss; Paul Moss is the new business development director at Intergage. He has worked with major corporates in the global communications sector, regularly jetting across the world to secure new business and drive growth.

Digital Marketing was a hot topic on our last BVAA BD Event and in this month’s event, Paul will discuss how you can use Content Marketing to build your sales funnel, how you can change your marketing to attract and build out your sales funnel for many years to come. Has it all changed or is it just status quo? There will also be an opportunity for an interactive Q&A session from the audience and excellent networking opportunity after the event.
