BVAA: Desktop Exhibitions
Terms & Conditions of Participation
Now that Desktops have been re-booted with a very successful event at Atkins last week and another due imminently with Score, and with such a time gap since we were last able to run them and with some new reps in the industry, the time is right to remind members of their rules.
These are effectively BVAA’s Terms & Conditions of Participation. They are by necessity a ‘take it or leave it’ package, and non-negotiable.
The T&Cs have been developed and approved by the BVAA Board to meet to the demands of hosts, and health and safety on-site. Also to avoid unseemly and embarrassing scenes of events of the past. In a time of Covid, they are more relevant than ever.
Think Highlander - ‘there can be only One’. One representative present. One display banner. Of One metre width.
There are other important T&CS which are clearly presented with booking information such as lightweight display products only, etc. and some of these may vary site-to-site. But the ‘Ones’ above do not - please remind your representatives to not try haggling or wheedling on these important conditions.
