BVAA: FREE Materials Roundtable Panel Discussion (Online)

We will be hosting an online panel discussion to discuss a range of topics affecting the Materials Supply Chain. The online event will be delivered via Microsoft Teams and be chaired by Adam Bradley from Corrosion Resistant Materials.

Some of the topics covered include:

• Cost challenges, alloy surcharges, energy surcharges and inflation.
• Lead times and how to protect yourself from stock-outs when production lead times are going up
• Implications of Brexit and Covid
• Dealing with specifications / 3.2 testing / traceability
• Effects of Commodity Pricing (especially volatile commodities like Nickel & Copper) but also how the oil price effects the capacity at mills
• Benefits of securing long term supply agreements
• Benefits of discussing specifications with stockholders before they are released.
