With several recent contract awards within the UK water utility market, engineering solutions provider Score Group has developed its independent products and service capabilities for this sector.

With more than 30 years of experience in the utilities industry, Score Group has a strong track-record in quality repair services, innovative engineering and, independent valve automation solutions including reactive, proactive, and preventive valve and actuator services.

Score Group’s commitment to the UK water utility market is shown through the recent investment and development of its actuator service operation. Our new facilities include actuator testing rigs providing detailed testing and analysis of new and old actuator stock, enabling fast and efficient fault diagnosis and solutions.

Aiming to provide a first-time-fix solution for clients, Score Group’s fully qualified service engineers perform on-site troubleshooting and actuator repairs directly from fully equipped mobile workshop vehicles in a bid to improve plant performance, reliability and availability, minimise downtime and reduce operational costs. The experienced teams have the capabilities, facilities and stock at hand to provide clients with a timely and efficient service of their actuated valve assets.

Ian has extensive global experience in valve and actuator aftermarket support services, plant upgrades, plant optimisation, valve automation and control, OEM integration projects. To ensure a collaborated approach to all services for its broad customer base, he will also lead on the efforts to streamline Score Group’s Brighouse capabilities which includes a dedicated actuator and valve fulfilment centre.
