CHEMUK 2022 Exceeds all Expectations
May is always a busy month for the BVAA, with so many events converging, but CHEMUK 2022 exceeded everyone’s expectations for buoyancy, especially coming as it did so closely on the heels of the equally busy September 2021 show.
We saw over 40 BVAA members at the event, about half of them exhibiting, with a number also participating in the Conference.
BVAA CEO Rob Bartlett commented, ‘I wish all exhibitions were as buoyant as CHEMUK! The footfall was amazing with almost no flat spots over the entire two days, and the BVAA stand was awash with visitors from start to finish. We even saw some members we’d not seen in years, and just about everyone was astonished at the vibrancy and the attendance. I know there will be an element of ‘de-mob happiness’ about it, but certainly the appetite for exhibitions, and the willingness of both exhibitors and visitors to attend them, seems to have been firmly rekindled with this show.
I think the organisers should be applauded for their sterling work, and for recognising that 2 days for an easy-to-get-to domestic exhibition is the perfect formula. CHEMUK promises to be even bigger next year, and I personally cannot wait for it to come around again.’
