Decades of BVAA Desktop Exhibitions

And still going strong…

BVAA Members at the Fluor Desktop Exhibition

BVAA Members at the Fluor Desktop Exhibition

This June, the BVAA organised their latest Desktop Exhibition at Fluor’s Farnborough facility with more than 40 visitors meeting with ten exhibitors drawn from the BVAA membership.

It was an extremely successful and productive event, with plenty of BVAA marketing collateral and Valveuser magazines flying off the shelf!

What are Desktop Exhibitions?

BVAA has been running Desktop Exhibitions for decades and are hosted by EPCs and major customers.

Desktop Exhibitions offer an extremely efficient way for valve and actuator users and specifiers to find out about the latest product developments and meet potential new suppliers, in the comfort and convenience of their own offices. The visitors who attend these events range from senior procurement experts to up-and-coming engineers.

What are the benefits of Desktop Exhibitions?

  • A convenient way to meet a range of suppliers on your own premises.
  • Suppliers can promote their products, innovations and solutions.
  • The host’s personnel have an opportunity to meet suppliers, face-to-face.
  • Users and specifiers learn about, or handle, the products they commonly specify.
  • Keep staff up-to-date with latest industry technological and mechanical innovations.
  • Promotes evidence of a fully-open procurement policy.
  • An opportunity to educate graduates or new employees.
  • Time-efficient exhibition over two hours.
  • Zero-cost to the host – the BVAA even pay for buffet lunch & refreshments!

Invitation Criteria

The BVAA is always led by the hosts’ invitation criteria. This could range from an ‘Open House’ invitation to the entire BVAA membership and positions are filled on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, to a ‘By Invitation’ only, whereby the host selects specific members to be invited.

Format

Desktops usually run for approximately 2 hours, between 11.30am – 1.30pm, with lunch provided. Every exhibitor is allocated a position within the space, and are permitted one desk, on which lightweight demo pieces and marketing collateral are displayed, one pull-up banner and one desktop representative.

Interested in hosting a FREE Desktop Exhibition?

If you are a significant buyer or user of valves, actuators and related products, why not ask BVAA to arrange a zero-cost, no hassle desktop event at your premises? There’s no better way to meet the industry and its product and services.
