Ashfield Springs Ltd: Celebrating 40 Years of Excellence in Spring Manufacturing!

Ashfield Springs Ltd is a leading manufacturer of all types of springs, with a specialization in compression springs ranging from 0.1mm to 8mm diameter wire. Alongside supplying UK valve, actuator and fluid power industries we are involved in industries as varied as medical & healthcare, agricultural, building products and garden supplies so, as we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we are reflecting on the milestones achieved and the journey that led to this success.

The company was founded in 1983 by Terry Smith and Gordon Chatterton-Greenwood when beer was still around £0.70 a pint. They had a vision to establish a business that provided quality products and excellent customer service. Still owned by Terry’s son Bryan the company has remained true to this vision and today, we are recognized as one of the most trusted names in the industry. You might not get a pint of beer as cheap as when we started, but our springs are still excellently priced!

A key factor that has contributed to the company's success is our team of highly skilled and experienced professionals. Ashfield Springs Ltd's workforce includes engineers, and production staff who are passionate about delivering quality products and services to customers. With a combined 250 years+ of experience the company's commitment to employee development and training has ensured that its team remains up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technology.

Our commitment to quality products was established early on in our history as one of the first spring companies to attain ISO:9001 accreditation we also hold ISO:14001 to ensure we keep up to date with environmental regulations and improvements along the way.

Another driver of our success has been our focus on customer service. Our dedicated sales and technical team understand that every customer has unique needs and requirements, and we strive to provide tailored solutions that meet these needs. Whether this is a quick sample turnaround or ensuring the best price and service on large batches, we always strive to the best possible customer care.

Looking ahead, we are committed to maintaining our position as a leader in the industry. Our 40th anniversary is a significant milestone that underscores the company's commitment to quality, customer service, and continuous improvement.
