SAFI Valves is a French plastic valve manufacturer that is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. The family-owned business has grown significantly over the years and has subsidiaries in several countries worldwide, including the UK, Germany, Spain, Chile, Peru, and the USA.

Founded by Jacques Moison in 1963, SAFI Valves started as a company that was focused on producing plastic valves to be used in washing machines, reducing the overall weight load and focusing on innovation. Over the years, the company has expanded its product range to include various types of valves used in industrial applications.

Stephane Moison, the son of the founder, now owns the business. He took over the reins in 2005 and has since continued to drive the growth of the business. Under his leadership, SAFI Valves has continued to expand its product range and has also entered new markets, including most recently into the USA.

One of the key factors that have contributed to the success of SAFI Valves over the years is its commitment to quality. Today, SAFI is a specialist within the industrial plastic valves market, complementary to the metallic valve, the plastic valve has many advantages that make it the first choice on many different applications.

The main quality of thermoplastics is their excellent resistance to corrosion. Whether a solvent, an acid-base reaction or a redox, the classic thermoplastics in valves have a much superior resistance than metals, including many stainless steels.
