ROSS Pneumatrol receives patent for their 2oo3 MRCS

ROSS Pneumatrol is delighted to announce that it has received a patent for their 2oo3 (two-out-of-three) MRCS redundancy valve manifold solution.

The MRCS is designed to offer superior levels of safety and reliability, with TUV Rhineland certification to SIL level 3. With the 2oo3 MRCS, two out of the three input signals need to de-energise to close (or open) the process valve.

The patented auto isolation feature means that individual solenoid valves can be replaced easily and safely in service without losing control of the process valve. This maintains redundancy and eliminates the need for a system bypass.

With this MRCS solenoid valve failure can be indicated through remote electrical monitoring of the manifold block or through visual indicators that are mounted on to the valve.

ROSS Pneumatrol has a highly competent and experienced team of design engineers who are able to design both standard and bespoke cost-effective solutions, adding value for the benefit of our customers.

Over the years the company has developed a depth of experience within different market sectors allowing solutions to be designed to meet the needs of our customers and conform to the industry specifications. Using the very latest design and analysis modelling software allows us to produce innovative designs prior to commencement of any manufacturing.

Our manufacturing plant includes a wide range of CNC and conventional machine tools, paint shop, assembly and testing facilities to enable us to produce our full range of products, from the smallest component, up to cylinders of over 1000 mm diameter. Our planning control system manages all customer orders and schedules material and purchasing requirements.
