fluteck™ K – PEEK - For engineering applications within the Valve industry

PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) is a semi-crystalline organic thermoplastic polymer formed by a highly stable chemical structure, for this reason it is often used for engineering applications.

This polymer guarantees superior performance in a wide range of temperatures and extreme conditions, considered as one of the most performing thermoplastic materials.

PEEK is able to replace metal in a wide range of industrial applications boasting excellent mechanical properties including: end degradation resistance, shock resistance, attack resistance of organic and aqueous environments, low wear rate and low friction coefficient.

fluteck™ K 301 PEEK’s carbon fibre compound is a high-performance thermoplastic polymer based on 30% Carbon fibre reinforced Polyetheretherketone (PEEK).

fluteck™ K 303 PEEK is a high-performance thermoplastic polymer made of Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) reinforced with a ternary anti-friction/anti-wear additive comprised of carbon fibre, graphite, and PTFE.

fluteck™ K 304 PEEK PTFE Compound is a high-performance thermoplastic polymer based on Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) reinforced with 20% polytetrafluoroethylene, PTFE.

fluteck™ K 308 PEEK Graphite Compound is a high-performance thermoplastic polymer based on Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) reinforced with a special graphite powder and traces of PTFE.
