Advanced Level On-site Training

Over the last few months, we have received an upsurge in training bookings for on-site, bespoke training from both members and end users.

On-site training is where our trainers come to your premises, and work with you to provide tailored training, adapted to your company’s specific needs. It means you can use, and reference, your own products and receive bespoke training materials.

Peter Dix, Chief Lecturer, says “We tailor the on-site training courses to provide a convenient, cost-effective way of training a group of employees in a single session that has been specifically adapted to be relevant to their business.”

“Concentrating on specific products and technology during the course means that the attendees gain a more in depth understanding, and they also have the opportunity to discuss aspects of the design, selection, operation or testing of the products that they are dealing with every day.”

Peter recently delivered on-site training to BVAA member Brooksbank Valves Ltd, and Sue O’Rorke, HR Lead, who organised this training for a number of employees said, “We have used BVAA training courses on several occasions both inhouse and at Banbury, we find them to be very informative and relevant for our needs. The courses are well designed, the course material is excellent, and the trainer really understands the subject matter and is able to pass on this knowledge to our team members.”

BVAA can deliver all of our standard courses to your teams, including: Introduction to Valves and Valve Actuators, EU Directives for Valves, Control Valves, Safety Valves etc. Importantly, we also develop new courses, including Safe Effective Hydrostatic Testing of Valves, a course specific to Energy from Waste sites and Appreciation of Valves for Refineries and Nuclear sites.

Benefits of On-site training:

  • Convenience
  • Save Money
  • Bespoke, Tailored Training
  • Team Building
  • Use your Own Products

Training to Meet the Needs of a Changing Industry

Our trainers are seeing a significant reduction in knowledge, experience and loss of skills across the industry. The challenge to recruit, retain and re-train staff is more important now than ever.

If you want to find out how you can host training at your premises and reap the benefits, contact karen@bvaa.org.uk for an initial, non-obligation chat.
