Specifically supporting both UK and Export OEM clients in the Oil, Gas, Chemical, Petrochemical and Nuclear industries, we are often requested to supply Quality Critical Fasteners for use in extreme and demanding conditions including Cryogenic, Hydrogen and Defence applications.

This often means the client has specified a certain high grade material such as a Stainless Steel, Super Duplex or Nickel Alloy.

One particular area where we have seen high levels of client activity is for the requirement of high strength Stainless Steel and Super Duplex where the barstock material has its mechanical properties increased using the strain hardening process, most commonly; 

• A4-80 Stainless Steel
• ASTM A193 B8M class 2 Stainless Steel
• UNS S32760 Super Duplex as per Zeron 100® FG/FLT

Sometimes the client will specify additional NDE and Laboratory Testing of the barstock material and/or finished product.

All products are fully certified and fully traceable and supplied under framework of our ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System.

APIS can also supply products with various Surface Coatings including Zinc Electroplating, Zinc Nickel, Zinc Flake, Fluorocarbon Coating (Xylan®), Cermet Coating (Xylar®), HDG, etc.

Within the APIS group, our facility in Willenhall, West Midlands (UK) is our engineering and manufacturing hub for Made to Order Special Fasteners, where we are able to support both national and international clients.
