At Clifford Springs, our commitment to providing customers with this confidence is central to the way we work.  We are certified to ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management.  Every stage of production, from material selection to delivery, follows controlled and traceable procedures. These certifications contribute to the foundation of the way we work, providing a consistent benchmark for reliability and continual improvement. 

Material integrity is central to that approach. We expect the same high standards from each of our wire suppliers, from whom we source our stainless steels and exotic alloys.  These exotic alloys include Elgiloy® that can be supplied in compliance with ISO 15156-3:2015 (NACE) for sour-service and hydrogen applications. Our customers manufacturing valves and seals can have confidence that their springs are made from materials proven to perform in challenging operating environments. 

We also focus on issue prevention, when it comes to quality at Clifford Springs.   By prioritising process control, supplier assurance, and working documentation, we ensure that our springs consistently meet specification requirements. Every batch is traceable from the original wire source to the finished component, supported by comprehensive production and material records. 

For bespoke or highly regulated projects, we may be asked to collaborate with clients to provide additional documentation or testing to suit their specific validation requirements. 

As our clients’ industries evolve, particularly in areas such as hydrogen, renewable energy and advanced sealing, standards and certification remain vital in maintaining trust throughout the supply chain and providing the structure that allows innovation to happen safely.
