MOONTOWN LTD celebrate our 30th anniversary in 2026 and over those three decades we have built a solid reputation worldwide and have been acknowledged as a seal manufacturer who recognises the demanding sealing requirements the valve industry need – quality, reliability, value & service.

Our PTFE Spring Energised Seals, Valve Seats, Butterfly Valve Seals, Metal Seals (C Rings/O Rings), Hydraulic & Pneumatic Seals and Sanitary Seals are used globally in the heart of the valve industry. Our reputation as a trusted partner is well earned but we do not rest on our laurels and are constantly researching new solutions for the most challenging environments and applications that the valve world produces.

From our 10,000 square foot purpose-built factory in Hucknall, East Midlands MOONTOWN manufacture and supply seals worldwide to the Oil/Gas & Energy sectors, Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical, Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Marine, Machine Tools, Food/Beverage/Dairy, Motorsport, Semi-Conductor & Aerospace amongst many others.

Our in-house PTFE Billet production capabilities ensure we can be relied upon to have complete control over production, quality and delivery lead time – we can react and adapt with our client’s needs, crucial as down time can be extremely costly and inconvenient.  All eight of our high-performance PEEK and PTFE materials suited for Sour Gas, Oil Production etc are approved and certified to the relevant NORSOK and API regulations. Aside from these we can offer one of the largest ranges of standard & performance PTFE materials in Europe from which our incredible range of Spring Energised Seals, Rotary Seals and Hydraulic Seals are produced with a huge range of springs, all wound and joined in house. Seal energisers can be supplied to suit standard or bespoke dimensions in NBR, HNBR, Silicone, EPDM or FPM. Elgiloy or Phynox energiser materials are approved to NACE MR0 175.

MOONTOWN also manufacture a vast range of standard and bespoke profiles in a huge range of high-performance materials including NBR, FPM, POLYURETHANE, SILICONE & EPDM including X Ray and Metal Detectable variants with FDA, WRC & WRAS approved material available from stock.

As a manufacturer we have the expertise to advise upon suitable materials, seal profiles and offer a sample manufacture service.  We will gladly make site visits with full reporting back up and 3D CAD drawings to support new designs or reverse engineered solutions. On site EDM facilities mean we can produce custom tooling quickly and react to the needs of fast paced requirements.
