AEG’s ATEX Pneumatic Cylinders from Artec

Available in ISO 15552, ISO 6432, and compact profiles, Artec’s ATEX-approved cylinders are engineered for use in Zones 1/21 and 2/22, meeting both ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and ISO compliance standards. 

Manufactured with materials and coatings selected to prevent ignition risk, these cylinders support reliable actuation of valves and control mechanisms even under extreme operating conditions. This makes them ideal for valve automation in environments where flammable gases, vapours, or dusts are present, enabling precise movement and control with full regulatory compliance. 

Modular Design for Seamless Integration              

The range includes single-and double-acting configurations, magnetic piston options for position sensing, and accessories - including clevises, rod ends, and mounts; all designed to integrate easily into new or existing valve systems. Their modular nature allows for flexible engineering solutions tailored to specific hazardous area requirements. Additionally, Artec’s cylinders can be paired with suitable ATEX-rated valve islands or solenoid valves to build fully compliant actuation systems from air supply through to the actuator.
