Hot Spot ISO to Publish Latest Editions of ISO 5210 and 5211

What is it?

Two valve actuation attachment standards have just completed the final parallel vote stage with ISO and CEN. The fourth editions of EN ISO 5210 Multi-turn valve actuator attachments and EN ISO 5211 Part-turn actuator attachments will shortly be published and available to purchase from the usual sources.

The main changes in the fourth editions are the addition of further interface dimension details for through bolting and also updates to output drive group B details for multi-turn valves.

Why is it Important?

These two sets of standards are published by CEN and ISO and as such are the most widely used international valve and actuator interface standards in order to ensure compatibility between valve and actuator assemblies.

All BVAA members involved with the manufacture of valves, actuators or the automation of these assemblies are advised to ensure that they are aware of the latest revision of these important interface standards.

Supersedes

These revisions replace the third editions of EN 1SO 5210:2023 and EN ISO 5211:2023.
